The United MileagePlus Explorer Card is designed for those who travel frequently with United and Continental because you earn double points. The card offers a low APR and there is no annual fee for the first year which is a $95 savings.
The card offers a variable rate of 14.24% Variable. This rate may vary based on changes to the prime rate. This card does not offer an introductory rate for purchases or balance transfers.
With the United MileagePlus Explorer Card you will earn 2 miles for every $1 you spend on tickets purchased from United and Continental. In addition, you will earn 1 mile per every $1 you spend everywhere else.
You can earn 25,000 bonus miles after first use and 5,000 additional bonus miles after your first Card use and for adding an authorized user within two months of opening your account. Plus, earn 10,000 bonus miles when you spend $25,000 or more on your Card each calendar year.
